My Story
My name is Orion Onassis López Murillo. I am a devoted father and the founder of Ancestral Tree Ibogaine Center in Ensenada, Mexico. Since 2016, I have dedicated my life to helping people who are struggling with addiction, emotional suffering, and deep personal challenges.
What began as a desire to help others became my life’s purpose. Over the years, I have learned that true healing is not only about treatment. It is about feeling safe, understood, and supported through every stage of the process. That is why I created a program that combines medical care, ancestral medicine, emotional support, and a deeply personalized approach.
At our center, we see each person as unique. We do not believe healing should be cold or mechanical. We believe it should be guided with compassion, respect, structure, and real human presence. Our mission is to create a space where people can detox, reconnect with themselves, and begin a true transformation.
I chose Ensenada as the home of our center because of its peace, beauty, and healing energy. This is more than a clinic to me. It is a sanctuary built with intention, where every person who arrives is treated with dignity, care, and heart.
This work is more than my profession. It is my calling, my commitment, and part of the legacy I want to leave for my son and for every life I am blessed to serve.
My Experience with Ancestral Medicines
My respect for ancestral medicines began through my own personal healing journey. In my younger years, I did not realize that alcohol was covering emotional, spiritual, and personal wounds that needed attention.
My first experience with ayahuasca was deeply transformative. It allowed me to see myself with greater honesty, feel a profound connection, and understand emotions in a way I had never experienced before. One of the most important parts of that journey was finding forgiveness toward my father and, in many ways, toward myself.
That experience changed my life and gave me a new perspective on healing. It is one of the reasons I later chose to dedicate myself to this work and to help others through these medicines with respect, preparation, and proper support.
Our Team
At Ancestral Tree Ibogaine Center, we are proud to offer a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing safe, compassionate, and personalized care throughout each stage of the healing process.
Our program is supported by medical professionals who oversee each patient’s condition with care and responsibility, helping ensure that every treatment plan is adapted to the individual’s needs. We also work with experienced nurses who provide close observation and support throughout the process, including during the most sensitive stages of treatment.
Our team includes a psychologist for emotional support and integration, a nutritionist who helps guide each patient’s recovery through proper nourishment, and a personal chef who prepares balanced meals designed to support healing and physical restoration. We also offer therapeutic support through massage therapy, yoga, meditation, and physical wellness activities that help patients reconnect with their bodies and restore balance.
To make the experience as comfortable as possible, we also provide transportation assistance for arrivals, departures, and necessary logistics during the stay.
At our center, every member of the team plays an important role. We believe that true healing requires more than one perspective. It requires medical care, emotional support, structure, compassion, and a genuine commitment to the well-being of each person who places their trust in us.
